Dropdown Public

Dropdown and MultiDropdown from ui-components are drop-downs that look the same in every browser and take the colors of the theme. Everything happens in the browser: the list opens, filters and is navigated with the keyboard without a request to the server. The native select stays in the page, hidden, and holds the choice, so a form posts it as always and an Ajax behavior on its change event is notified as with a native select.

Use the arrow keys to move through the options, Enter or Space to choose and Escape to close; type into the filter, which a list gets from eight options on, or always when asked to. A multiple drop-down stays open while options are toggled and shows the chosen ones as chips in the theme's colors, each with an x removing it; Backspace on the button removes the last one. The text below the form follows every choice via Ajax.
